Terms of Service

Last updated

These terms are the agreement between you and Saving Diary. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. Please read them, especially the disclaimers and the limitation of liability.

Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Reksa Studio ("Saving Diary", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using Saving Diary, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use Saving Diary.

Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your country, or the minimum age of digital consent where you live, and legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Saving Diary on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Your license to use Saving Diary

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Saving Diary for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the app store rules. We keep all rights not expressly granted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Saving Diary for anything unlawful or harmful.
  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to Saving Diary, our systems, or other users.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Saving Diary or its content.

Your records

The data you log stays yours. We claim no rights over it, we do not use it to train anything, and we do not sell it. Where you have an account, you grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and keep it in step to run the app for you, and to show a shared wallet to the people you choose to share it with.

You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping any account credentials secure. The app reports on what it was given, so a report is only as accurate as the entries behind it.

Sync and shared wallets

Creating an account places a copy of your records on our servers, as the Privacy Policy describes. Keeping more than one device in step, and shared wallets, are part of Premium.

Sync reconciles edits made on more than one device, and the most recent change to a record is the one kept. It is a convenience and not a guarantee, so keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

When you share a wallet, the people you share it with can see and add to that wallet. Share only with people you intend to give that access to.

Leaving a shared wallet ends your access to it. Your own records stay exactly as they were, and the transactions you added to that wallet stay with the wallet for its other members.

Backups

Backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Subscriptions, billing, and trials

Saving Diary offers a free plan and an optional paid subscription ("Premium"). Premium is billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms. Prices shown on this website are samples; the exact price for your country and currency is always shown in the app before you confirm a purchase.

A 7 day Premium trial starts by itself when you install the app. It does not ask for a card and does not require registration, and for that reason it does not turn into a paid subscription on its own. When it ends, the free limits come back and everything you logged stays where it is.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Lifetime is a single payment with no renewal.
  • You manage, cancel, and view your subscription in your Apple or Google account settings, not in the app.
  • The free plan carries ads and limits on wallets, budgets, custom labels, savings goals, and loan trackers. Premium lifts those limits and removes the ads.

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by the app stores, refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, and you should request a refund directly through the store you bought from. We do not process payments and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves. Where the law gives you a mandatory refund or cancellation right, that right still applies.

General guidance, not financial advice

Saving Diary is a personal record keeping app. What it suggests is general guidance, not personal financial advice, and it does not replace a licensed financial adviser.

It records and organizes what you tell it. Some of what it shows you, including tips, summaries, and suggestions, is general information intended to help you understand your own money. None of it is tailored to your circumstances, your obligations, or your goals, and none of it should be relied on as though it were. We do not assess your situation before showing it to you.

Nothing it shows you is a projection or a promise about your money, and it is not a bank, a broker, an accountant, or a tax adviser. Decisions about your money are yours, and for anything consequential you should speak to a qualified professional.

Service provided as is

Saving Diary is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Saving Diary and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app, including any reliance on the reports or figures it shows you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Saving Diary will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or ten US dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Saving Diary harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the app or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You can stop using Saving Diary at any time, and you can delete your account by writing to us as the Privacy Policy describes. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where we must for legal or security reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, such as the disclaimers and the limitation of liability, will survive.

App stores

If you download Saving Diary from the Apple App Store or Google Play, their terms also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for Saving Diary or for providing support, and where required, they are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with the right to enforce them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the date on this page, and where appropriate we may also notify you through the app or a notice on our website. We are not obliged to give individual advance notice. Continuing to use Saving Diary after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply. You may have rights under your local law that these Terms do not override.
