Do I need an account?
No. An account is only what keeps two devices in step, and it stays optional.
No. Install the app and start logging. There is no email, no password, and nothing waiting to be approved before the app is useful.
What an account is actually for
One thing: keeping your records in step across more than one device. That is also what shared wallets are built on, since two phones cannot hold one balance without something in the middle.
- Without an account, your records live only on the phone you logged them on
- With one, they follow you to a second device
- Either way there is no bank connection, and there is not going to be
Making an account later does not start you over. What you already logged comes with you.
