Edit or delete an entry
Any entry can be changed or removed, and every total that used it moves with it.
Nothing you log is final. An amount typed wrong, a category picked in a hurry, a spend that turned out to be a transfer: all of it can be corrected afterwards.
When an entry changes, everything built on it changes too. The wallet balance, the budget it counted against, and the month's report are all worked out from your entries rather than stored beside them, so there is nothing to recalculate by hand.
Deleting an entry takes it out of every total it was part of. There is no separate archive it moves to.
If you are not sure which to do
Editing is the safer one. Correcting the amount or the category keeps the record of the day, and an entry you fixed is more use later than one that is simply gone.
